Review: Mild By Nature, For Baby, Tear-Free Shampoo & Body Wash

Mild By Nature, For Baby, Tear-Free Shampoo & Body Wash contains beneficial oils of Evening Primrose, Borage Seed and Flax Seed, which are all certified organic. Made in USA.  As described in the product overview in iHerb, it is indeed mild and suitable for newborns. It has a pleasant gentle scent. My baby has been using it since she was born 5 months ago. She is free from rashes or any skin problems in babies. We only use it on alternate days on warm weather or when she's sticky from sweating, while we do not use any body wash or shampoo on the other days. 

It does not clean very well on the hair. But I guess the reason is because the shampoo is mild. Baby skin is soft after using it as a body wash. On the product, you can see that there is a warning on not getting it into the eyes. But on the product's name, it is described as Tear-free. So, I will recommend it using as a body wash more than a shampoo. 

We applied directly on baby's body (amount: about the size of a coin on the palm) without using any wash cloth or sponge. After applying, we bathe baby in warm water for 3-5 minutes before wiping her dry with a warm cloth. I bought it when it was on a testing period from iHerb, so I had the small bottle to try first. Subsequently, I bought the larger 380ml bottle as I find it good for baby and me. Bottle is easy to open with just a click and the liquid does not get stuck in the cap like some other organic products.
